Job Summary

We are hiring a qualified HSE Officer with a minimum of 5 years of direct HSSE experience in Power or Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant operations. This role is essential to maintaining safety standards across our energy infrastructure in Al Qassim.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Certification from recognized HSSE institutions (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, IEMA).
  • Membership in international HSSE bodies (e.g., OSHA, IOSH, IEMA).

 

Required Experience

  • At least 5 years of HSSE experience in a Power Plant or Reverse Osmosis facility.

Working Relationships

  • Internal: HSSE Team Leader, Plant staff.
  • External: Emergency services, contractors, HSSE consultants/advisors.

 

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

  • Assess operational risks and recommend preventive HSSE measures.
  • Advise contractors and vendors on HSSE compliance during meetings.

HSSE Systems Implementation

  • Support deployment of HSSE management systems, including emergency protocols.
  • Ensure alignment with NOMAC standards and legal obligations.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure HSSE compliance.
  • Prepare daily/monthly reports on incidents and safety performance.
  • Oversee work permit systems and verify safety prerequisites.

Training & Awareness

  • Deliver HSSE training to employees and contractors.
  • Promote best practices and lead safety campaigns.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain strong relationships with regulators, emergency services, and contractors.

Emergency Preparedness

  • Develop and execute emergency drill scenarios.
  • Respond to incidents and participate in investigations.

Safety Equipment Management

  • Monitor PPE inventory and initiate timely procurement.

Policy Compliance

  • Follow organizational policies and procedures for consistent execution.

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to safety improvement initiatives and change management.

Other Duties

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.
