Job Summary:
Lead the maintenance organization to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance of the CCGT power plant in accordance with approved maintenance plans, procedures, company policies, and applicable safety and regulatory requirements. The role is responsible for managing maintenance activities, resources, SAP-based maintenance processes, budgets, spare parts, contractors, and the performance and development of the maintenance team.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage maintenance organizations, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Control (I&C) teams, ensuring effective workforce allocation, supervision, performance management, and competency development.
  • Implement preventive maintenance plans and coordinate corrective maintenance activities to ensure plant reliability, availability, and trouble-free operation.
  • Ensure effective utilization of SAP/CMMS for maintenance planning, work orders, maintenance history, scheduling, and monitoring of all maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities across E/M/I&C sections, analyze recurring and chronic equipment issues, and lead root cause investigations and corrective actions to improve plant reliability.
  • Develop and monitor the maintenance and capital budgets, review purchase requisitions, and ensure availability of critical and strategic spare parts and consumables within approved budgetary requirements.
  • Manage and monitor contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with approved maintenance procedures, IMS, HSE requirements, work scopes, and applicable standards.
  • Ensure effective implementation of IMS, HSE, environmental, legal, PTW, waste management, PPE, hazard risk assessment, and environmental aspect-impact requirements within the maintenance function.
  • Ensure effective maintenance reporting, emergency preparedness, training, competency development, equipment/instrument calibration, and continuous improvement while supporting achievement of plant and IMS objectives.

 

Job Specifications:

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related discipline from a recognized four-year university.

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant maintenance experience in power generation or similar industrial plants.
  • Experience in CCGT power plants and managing Mechanical, Electrical, and I&C maintenance functions is highly preferred.
  • Up to 20 years of relevant experience is preferred.

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of power plant maintenance, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, maintenance planning, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement.
  • Working knowledge of SAP/CMMS for maintenance management, work orders, planning, and maintenance reporting.
  • Good knowledge of HSE, Quality, Environmental Management Systems, PTW, hazard risk assessment, waste management, and applicable legal requirements.
  • Strong leadership, team management, investigation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills and good computer literacy, including MS Outlook.

Site-based role, at a remote power plant location.
