Department Description

 

  • Managing business reliability of the Rabigh Power Company services.
  • Major focusing areas are maintenance and facility performance.
  • It includes following activities but not limited to these.
  • QA/QC(maintenance inspection of static equipment)
  • IMS(Quality Management System, Environment Management System and OHSAS)
  • Condition Monitoring such as vibration, temperature and facility performance monitoring
  • Developing overall reliability program to improve the business reliability covering all services and implementation working with other plant departments.
  • This program includes all items related to maintenance program, work quality, spare parts etc.

Department Objectives

 

  • Exceed customer satisfaction & meet contractual commitments by providing efficient & reliable O&M services achieve KPI targets defined in RPC Operating Philosophy Manual. 
  • Carry out 100% OSI annual inspections on all static equipment in both the desalination and power plants. 
  • Analyze 100% of the relevant maintenance activities.
  • To achieve 98% of scheduled Condition Monitoring activities in order to detect early failure in equipment.
  • To achieve 99% of scheduled Performance Tests activities in order to guarantee adequate Major Equipment Performance

Job Duties & Responsibilities 

 

  • Carry out plant inspections; write inspection worksheets; monitor maintenance repairs and procedures; update equipment history; document inspection history, write procedures and review contractor work scopes.

Qualification

 

  • Education/Training/Professional License.
  • University graduate/BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related fields)
  • Certificate in inspection (construction and maintenance related)
  • Excellent knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance

Qualification: Experience 

  • At least 5 years of related experience, in a power plant or utilities environment
  • Strong organizational and report-writing skills
  • Able to prioritize and plan effectively
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
