Job Summary

The Chemistry Department is responsible in efficient sampling and accurate analyses of samples, and providing timely and appropriate recommendations to O&M groups to ensure reliable plant operations. This is to make sure that capacity and availability of the client's power requirements (as per RAWEC-Petro Rabigh Agreement) are met and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow instruction and guidance from chemist, Lab Supervisor, Lab. Asst.  Section Head   & Chem. Head   
  on all lab activities. 
• Performs collection of water / solid samples and keeping the sampling area free from sample spillages. 
• Performs filling of dosing chemicals, adjustment of dosing pump strokes, and cleaning of dosing areas 
  under the supervision of Chemist. 
• Performs the daily recording of dosing tanks level and dosing pump strokes. 
• Performs cleaning of glass wares, lab work areas, fume hood and house- keeping. 
• Assist the Chemist in chemicals/glassware/equipment inventory. 
•  Assist during chemical unloading activity. 
• Follow safety rules & operating standards during working hours. 
• Perform any other related job that maybe assigned by the Chem. Head, Lab. Asst.  Section Head, Lab Supervisor and Chemist.
