Job Description: 

We are a developer, investor, and operator of power generation and desalinated water plants, with 90 assets in operation, construction, or advanced development across 13 countries.

The Senior Manager, Executive Total Rewards is responsible for supporting the design, governance, benchmarking, administration, and continuous enhancement of executive compensation and strategic Total Rewards programs. The role supports executive-level compensation matters, LTIP administration, NRC and Board-related materials, sensitive remuneration interventions, executive hiring compensation support, and strategic rewards initiatives aligned with Acwa’s Total Rewards philosophy and governance framework.

 

Key Responsibilities

Executive Compensation and Governance

  • Support the design, review, and governance of executive compensation programs, including fixed pay, variable pay, LTIP, and special remuneration arrangements.
  • Conduct executive compensation benchmarking and prepare market insights to support leadership compensation decisions.
  • Support sensitive remuneration interventions, exceptions, and executive-level compensation cases in line with approved governance and DOA requirements.
  • Support regional executive hiring activities from a compensation perspective, including offer positioning, internal parity, and market alignment.

LTIP and Executive Incentives

  • Administer LTIP processes, including eligibility validation, nomination support, grant coordination, vesting matters, and participant data management.
  • Support LTIP policy updates, enhancements, and governance requirements linked to executive reward programs.
  • Coordinate with custodians, vendors, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders on LTIP and executive incentive matters.
  • Support IPO-related reward administration activities where applicable, including coordination, documentation, and governance follow-up.

NRC, Board and Senior Management Support

  • Prepare reward-related papers, proposals, analytics, and governance tracking for NRC and Board submissions.
  • Support executive compensation reviews, CEO and N-1 benchmarking, policy matters, and senior leadership reward proposals.
  • Ensure executive reward recommendations are supported by robust analysis, internal equity review, market data, and governance rationale.

Strategic Total Rewards Projects

  • Contribute to strategic Total Rewards initiatives linked to Board and NRC direction, leadership reward, retention, and EVP enhancement.
  • Support the evolution of executive reward programs, including LTIP experience enhancements and potential new retention or incentive plans.
  • Partner with Total Rewards Operations, Finance, Legal, HRBPs, and business stakeholders to ensure reward solutions are practical, compliant, and aligned with business needs.

Market Benchmarking and Pay Positioning

  • Use market data from relevant survey providers to support executive compensation decisions, pay positioning, and salary structure reviews.
  • Support executive and senior leadership benchmarking exercises, including market comparisons, compensation ratio analysis, and recommendation summaries.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy, confidentiality, and governance when handling executive compensation information.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Total Rewards leadership, HRBPs, Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, and executive stakeholders on compensation-related matters.
  • Provide expert guidance on executive reward queries, governance requirements, offer positioning, exceptions, and policy interpretation.
  • Support timely responses to urgent executive compensation and recruitment-related requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in compensation, total rewards, HR, or finance is preferred.
  • 6 to 10+ years of relevant experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, Executive Rewards, or HR / Rewards consulting.
  • Strong experience in executive compensation, LTIP, variable pay, benchmarking, governance, and rewards policy administration.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders, Board / NRC materials, and sensitive compensation matters is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel and reporting skills.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors, salary surveys, compensation tools, and HR data management is preferred.
