Strategy & Plans

Regularly report to the manager on the operational activities of department, challenges and issues faced, mitigations taken, etc. as required, to keep them informed and updated on the department’s activities.

People Management
-
Manage the effective achievement of the team’s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team, and providing formal and informal feedback to maximise overall performance, engagement and motivation.
|
Budget Management
-
Contribute to the preparation of the RO operation budget, manage, and monitor the technical and financial performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.
|
Job Management
-
RO CCR Operators, plant local; operators and the Chemist RO plant chemistry.

Power dispatching from generation plants to delivery points.
-
Maintenance departments for the systems troubleshooting.
-
Planning and performance department to secure power and water forecast and availability.
-
Production plants to assure production-Load balance.

Policies, Processes, Systems & Procedures

Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.

Health, Safety, Security and Environment

Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude.
